SmokeOff

Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SmokeOff (“the App”), developed by Evgeniy Eremenko (“we”, “us”), handles information when you use the App on Apple devices.

Bundle identifier: com.smokeoff.app.

1. Summary

SmokeOff is designed to keep your quit-smoking profile and progress on your device. We do not operate a user account system and we do not run our own backend that stores your profile. Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple and may be validated via RevenueCat.

2. Information stored on your device

Depending on how you use the App, it may store locally:

This information is used only to power features you see in the App (timers, savings estimates, recovery progress, reminders, widgets).

3. Purchases and subscriptions

If you buy or restore a subscription, payment is processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We use RevenueCat to check entitlement status (whether Premium is active). RevenueCat and Apple may process purchase identifiers and transaction data according to their own privacy policies. We do not receive your full payment card details.

4. Notifications

If you grant notification permission, the App may schedule local reminders (for example motivation or progress prompts). Notification content is generated on device from your local stats. You can revoke permission in iOS Settings at any time.

5. Widgets

If you add the SmokeOff widget, a limited snapshot of progress may be shared with the widget extension on your device via an App Group so the widget can display days smoke-free and money saved. This stays on your device.

6. Analytics and tracking

The App does not use third-party advertising SDKs and does not request App Tracking Transparency permission for cross-app tracking. We do not sell your personal information.

7. Health-related content

Recovery timelines and health-oriented copy in the App are general informational guides, not medical advice or a diagnosis. See also our Terms of Use.

8. Data retention and deletion

Because profile data lives on your device, you can clear it with the in-app “Reset all data” action (or by deleting the App). Resetting removes local profile and progress data. Restoring purchases later can re-activate Premium if your Apple subscription is still valid.

9. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum digital consent age in your country). Do not use the App if you are under that age.

10. International users

The App may be used in different countries. Processing related to App Store purchases follows Apple’s and RevenueCat’s practices for the storefront where you subscribe.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
